I love getting presents!
February 04, 2010
I was getting tired of going to the post office lately- living in a small town we don't get our mail delivered to our house- so everyday I have to go to the post office and pick up the mail. Lately our mail consists of a lot of stuff for my husbands auto parts business, a few college postcards for my daughter and a few for my son too, a few bills, and that is about it. This is me whining- I never get any "fun" mail- so yesterday I take the trek to the post office---- and what do I see! A package for ME!!! It is from Jill Olson- for those who don't know her she is one of the first demonstrators to sign up with Stampin' Up!, she is what is called my up-upline, so I belong to her group of demos, which is huge! Anytime I get something from a stamper or fellow demo- I rip it open right there at the Post Office! This time was no exception- Isn't it awesome! It is a magnetic note board and when you see how she put it together you are going to want one too!
Here is a close-up of the shapes and the back- It is just a piece of sheet metal from any hardware store!
How cute is this- she used The Write Stuff Designer Series Paper, the Big Shot Die Flowers Layers #3 and cut out paper and chipboard, layered it with a few other embellishments- and covered the whole thing in Crystal Effects! Placed a magnet on the back and the Flowers hold everything in place.
