I was inspired to make this notecard holder by another demo. One of the benefits of being a demo is we have an online website where we can share ideas with each other- last time I checked there were 25000 ideas using Stampin' Up!'s great product!
For this project I used a piece of designer series paper, our note cards and envelopes, a few punches, a little ribbon, and the stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes. I cut my designer paper 3 X 5 and then cut 1 1/2 inches off and flipped that over at the bottom- so the birds are showing at the top and the bottom piece is the reverse side of the bird paper. I hope that makes sense- it is not as difficult as I think I may be making it sound! I layered these papers onto a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock cut at 4 3/4 X 3 1/4, tied my ribbon around the cardstock and tied in a knot. Stamped some sentiments from Teeny Tiny Wishes, which works great with the Word Window punch and then layered them with the Modern Label punch. Toward the bottom of the picture you can see just part of the flap of the envelope- I just covered the flap with some of the left over paper.

Punches are a quick and easy way to add interest, dimension, and color to your cards, tags, and scrapbook pages. You can glue punched shapes directly onto your projects or layer a sheet of card stock that has been punched over a coordinating card stock for a reverse effect. Use the Word Window punch on the front of a card, and then stamp your verse or sentiment on the inside of the card to show through the window.
