Stampin' Up!'s Decor Elements: Rock On!

Hannah's project 010Hannah saw this in the Stampin' Up! Decor Elements catalog and wanted me to make one for her- so last night we did it! It looks so much better in real life. I am going to post the pictures of the process- it isn't hard to do.

Hannah's project 002 First we put the Decor Elements Decorative Hearts on the metal piece. The metal piece is a scrap of corrugated metal. The hearts are made of vinyl and they cling to the metal easily.

Hannah's project 003 Hannah's project 004 Then Hannah and her dad spent some time mixing up paint to spray on. It was fun listening to them try to figure out just the right colors- it helps that we own the NAPA store and they had access to a whole wall of colors to play with!

We used an air gun to spray the paint on- but any can of spray paint would work.

After it dried we peeled the vinyl hearts off- they were pretty detailed to it took a little time to peel all the little pieces off.  Hannah's project 006Then we added some bling with the new Basic Rhinestones in the catalog- this is one of my favorite new products!

Then we added the Decor Element- Rock On- and accented it with some more bling and glitter!
