I've never been a coffee drinker until the past year or so, but it has become a time that I truly enjoy and look forward to. When I have coffee it is usually with my sister~ we will walk downtown and enjoy a cup at the local coffee shop. Say hello to the regulars and visit with those who are there and find out what is happening in town. Lately, the news hasn't been good~ too many people with health issues, too many young people passing away, horrible accidents, etc. but I also see the silver lining. A community that comes together to help those in need, a support system that people can fall back on in their time of need, and sharing in the joy of one of the high school kids making progress on his road to recovery after a horrible accident. I love this town of ours even with all of its quirks.
