I spent some time stamping today- just for the fun of it! That doesn't happen as often as it used to. I love how each of these cards came out. The Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper really adds a festive touch.
Each card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 except for one which was cut 11 x 4 1/4 scored at 5 1/2. I will point that one out in its description.
Those with a layer of Designer Series paper are cut 4 x 5 1/4- I use this measurement quite often because I can get 6 cards out of one sheet.
This card was inspired by another demonstrator- I loved the look of the Black Glimmer ribbon on her card so I found a little bit of a piece to use on this card.
This card was inspired by a fellow demo Shelley Godby. I took a piece of Designer Series paper that was 4 x 5 1/4 and cut the snowflake swirl from the middle of it. Then I cut out a whisper white snowflake swirl. I adhered the Designer Series Paper and then adhered the Whisper White Swirl into the openings of the Designer Series paper- it is a perfect fit because they are both cut from the same die. You can make two cards from the Designer Series Paper.
This Designer Series paper on this card is cut 4 x 3. I used a stamp to stamp a subtle background, made a quick banner and added an embellishment and a bow.
This card base is actually 11 x 4 1/4, scored at 5 1/2. when I am tying a ribbon around the front of the card I like this cut so it is easier to tie the ribbon. I used a big circle punch to mount the snowflake on just to help it stand out. The Designer Series paper is cut 4 x 5 1/4 and then cut off 1 1/2 and flip the paper- this way both sides of the paper shine.
This one happens to be one of my favorites and it was the easiest one! I cut the Designer Series paper 4 x 5 1/4 and layered onto the card base. I stamp the tree and stem with Mossy Meadow ink, added some rhinestones and a snowflake embellishment.
Inside each card, I layered a whisper white piece of cardstock 4 x 5 1/4 and stamp a Christmas greeting and a few snowflakes. I love them and really enjoyed stamping for fun! I hope you are finding time to stamp.
